Help me fund my dream residency!

I just got my acceptance to my dream residency: two weeks on an arctic vessel alongside scientists and artists from around the world. I am so incredibly excited and nervous for this opportunity, but the only hiccup is that traveling to and around the arctic circle is an incredibly expensive adventure. Thus, this post. I was hoping to get your support in one (or more!) ways.

I’ve started a blog to follow the process if you’re interested in updates on the whole shebang (you can subscribe at the bottom of the page). My plan is to spend my time doing photography, watercolors (yes, using arctic ice as my water, what else would you expect?), interviewing everybody on the journey, and writing poetry. From this, I hope to create a book featuring much of this content that I will happily share digitally with all my supporters. I’m also working with a couple non-profits to use this experience to create programming for youth and adults alike.
